How Ask JWTruth answers

Your question is answered only from evidence in the JWTruth ledger of quotations, publications and records. Where the ledger covers a question squarely, you see its records exactly as the researchers wrote them, with no AI involved. Where it covers it only in part, an AI model writes a short summary of those records. Either way every material statement cites its source, and an answer is shown only after an automatic check that each citation, quotation, date and page number actually appears in the evidence it cites.

Each answer carries an evidence status, worked out from the sources it cites rather than chosen by the AI:

• Verified. Every material claim rests on sources a person has opened and checked word for word.
• Supported. The material claims rest on reliable sources, at least one of which has not been checked word for word against the original.
• Disputed. Some of the evidence conflicts, or a material claim rests on a record that is disputed. The answer sets out both sides.
• Unverified. At least one material claim rests on a source that has not been verified. Treat it with caution.
• Insufficient evidence. The evidence available is not enough to answer this reliably, so we have not answered it.

Questions are kept with their answers so that answers can be shared and reused; your IP address is not stored. Sources found online go into a private queue for an editor to check, and nothing becomes verified until a person has opened the original. How your question is handled
