Confidence note. The Watchtower Online Library carries Awake! only from 1970 onward, the Internet Archive has no Awake! issues for 1953, and the official pub-media endpoint returns HTTP 404 for this issue. The wording, the page and even the existence of the article therefore remain unchecked. To confirm it, a physical or microfilm copy of the 8 October 1953 Awake! would be needed.
