Die Position der Organisation oder ihre spätere Erklärung: Der Artikel von 1995 stellt den Ausgang als Gewinn für alle dar und zitiert einen Leitartikel des Telegraph Journal, wonach die Entscheidung ‘a victory not just for Jehovah’s Witnesses, but for us all’ gewesen sei, sowie das Canadian Medical Association Journal zu den damit gesetzten Richtlinien.

Awake!, “Joshua’s Faith—A Victory for Children’s Rights”

22. Januar 1995 · pp.11-15 · pars. 3-4, 39-40 · Awake! correspondent in Canada · Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc.

“Joshua died October 4, 1994.”

Eight months after the ‘Youths Who Put God First’ issue, Awake! carried a five-page account of Joshua Walker, 15, of New Brunswick, who had acute myeloid leukaemia. It quotes Chief Justice W. L. Hoyt of the New Brunswick Court of Appeal (‘The evidence here is overwhelming that Joshua is sufficiently mature’), a Telegraph Journal editorial calling the decision ‘a victory not just for Jehovah’s Witnesses, but for us all’, and the Canadian Medical Association Journal. The article’s final line, standing on its own, records his death.

The Watchtower, ““I Have Observed the Faith””

1. Juli 1994 · pp.29-31 · pars. 1-5 · As told by friends of Brunella Inconditi · Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania

“Two days before she expected to symbolize her dedication by water baptism, Brunella learned that she had leukemia.”

Six weeks after the Awake! series, The Watchtower carried a comparable account of Brunella Inconditi of Montreal, who learned she had leukaemia in July 1990 at the age of 15. The current Watch Tower index tags the article ‘(blood case)’.

Watch Tower Publications Index 1986-2026, “Canada (subheading ‘persons’)”

2026 · entries under Canada → persons · Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania

“Kosack, Lisa (blood case): g94 5/22 12-14 … Walker, Joshua (blood case): g95 1/22 11-15 … Yeatts, Adrian (blood case): g94 5/22 3-8”

The organisation’s current cumulative index, covering 1986 to 2026, lists these young people by name under Canada, each tagged ‘(blood case)’, together with ‘Inconditi, Brunella (blood case): w94 7/1 29-31’ and ‘Cadoreth, April: kr 162-164’. The index also supplies the page range of each account.

Notes. The index is the organisation’s own finding aid. Its continued listing of these accounts as ‘blood case’ entries is the clearest available evidence that the 1994 and 1995 articles remain part of the published corpus.
