Jusqu’en 1932, les prophéties hébraïques de rétablissement étaient appliquées au retour des Juifs en Palestine ; le livre Vindication (1932) les a appliquées au contraire au rétablissement de l’organisation elle-même à partir de 1919.

“In the second volume of Vindication, published by the Watch Tower Society in 1932, a flash of light revealed that the restoration prophecies recorded by Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and other prophets did not apply (as once thought) to the fleshly Jews, who were returning to Palestine in unbelief and with political motivations.”

The paragraph records that the movement had previously applied the Hebrew restoration prophecies to the literal return of Jews to Palestine, and that in 1932 it applied them instead to its own history from 1919.
