En febrero de 1952 La Atalaya indicó a sus lectores que debían 'seguir mansamente a la organización teocrática del Señor y esperar más aclaración, en vez de resistirse ante la primera mención de un pensamiento que nos resulte desagradable', y que no debían 'oponer su propio razonamiento humano al canal de Jehová'.

“We should meekly go along with the Lord’s theocratic organization and wait for further clarification, rather than balk at the first mention of a thought unpalatable to us and proceed to quibble and mouth our criticisms and opinions as though they were worth more than the slave’s provision of spiritual food.”

Paragraph also says 'Jehovah and Christ direct and correct the slave as needed, not we as individuals' and warns against pitting 'their own human reasoning' against 'Jehovah's channel'.
