Contra a defesa de que “irmãos individualmente especularam”: as expectativas com data foram publicadas nos próprios livros da organização (1889, 1917, 1920, 1966), em revistas (1922-24, 1968), num encarte do Ministério do Reino (1974) e na declaração de propósito de uma revista (até 1995); a própria organização admitiu em 1980 que “declarações publicadas” haviam dado a entender probabilidade.

“With the appearance of the book Life Everlasting—in Freedom of the Sons of God ... considerable expectation was aroused regarding the year 1975. ... there were other statements published that implied that such realization of hopes by that year was more of a probability than a mere possibility. It is to be regretted that these latter statements apparently overshadowed the cautionary ones”
